Which of these work on Android?

On 29 October 2026, Suno, Boppy, MusicLab, Mureka and MusicTune AI each had a listing on Google Play. Udio did not: its help center says there is no Android app and that “Udio” apps on Google Play “are unauthorized, won’t sync with your library or subscription, and shouldn’t be installed”; Udio on Android means the website. ElevenMusic listed an iOS app and the web only.

And on iPhone and iPad?

All seven have an App Store app. On iPad the listings differ: MusicTune AI, MusicLab, ElevenMusic and Udio include iPad in their App Store Compatibility list, though Udio’s help center says its app is “not optimized or recommended for iPads at this time”; Suno’s listing says “Designed for iPhone” and its Compatibility list names iPhone and Mac, not iPad; Boppy’s and Mureka’s say “Only for iPhone” (checked on 29 October 2026). Minimum iOS also differs: MusicTune AI needs iOS 15, MusicLab 15.6, Mureka 13, Udio 16.4, and Suno, Boppy and ElevenMusic 18.

Where MusicTune AI fits, honestly

MusicTune AI is for a personal song made on a phone: a birthday song with the name and age, a wedding or anniversary song, a song from a photo, or your own lyrics sung. On the Home screen, under For an occasion, each template asks for a few details (the Birthday one: the Birthday star’s name, Age, Her, Him or Them, and a Personal touch) plus the song Language (English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese or Arabic), and Generate song gives you two versions, usually in a minute or two. Create has a Simple mode (describe the song in up to 300 characters) and a Custom mode (your lyrics, sung as written).

  • It doesn’t grant commercial rights on any plan, has no audio upload or vocal removal, and has no web version. For those, Suno (paid plans), ElevenMusic (with a credit) or Mureka (its pro plan, per its site) are the rows to look at.
  • Songs made in Simple or Custom mode are public in the Explore feed by default; only Pro can switch off Show in Explore.
  • Pro is US$9.99 a week for 30 songs or US$14.99 a month for 100 songs, the same on both stores; prices vary by country and the app shows the price before you pay. One-time song packs never expire. The free plan page has the details.

How to pick

Decide three things first: where you’ll make the song (phone only, or also a computer), what you’ll do with it (personal sharing, or publishing and monetizing), and what you start from (a name and occasion, a description, your own lyrics, a photo or an existing recording). Then check the free allowance and whether songs are public by default. Apps like Suno FAQ

Which Suno alternatives work on Android?

On 29 October 2026, Boppy, MusicLab, Mureka and MusicTune AI each had an Android app on Google Play, and Suno itself has one too. Udio has no Android app (its help center says so) and ElevenMusic lists an iOS app and the web only. MusicTune AI runs on Android 7.0 or later.

Does Udio have an Android app?

No. Udio’s help center says “We don’t currently have an Android app, so any ‘Udio’ apps you might spot in the Google Play store are unauthorized, won’t sync with your library or subscription, and shouldn’t be installed”, and that the only safe ways to use Udio are the website and its official iOS app (help.udio.com, checked on 29 October 2026).

Is there a free Suno alternative?

Several have a free tier, each read from its own page on 29 October 2026: Boppy (“Free songs come with a short ad”), ElevenMusic (“25 songs a day”, free), Udio (“10 daily creation credits”), and MusicTune AI (the first creation free with two versions and no sign-up, then a free creation every 12 hours after a short ad when one is available). Suno’s own free plan is “50 credits per day”, about 10 songs. MusicLab and Mureka list in-app purchases without stating a free allowance.

Can I use my own lyrics in these apps?

In MusicTune AI, yes: Custom mode sings your lyrics (up to 5,000 characters) as written, and you choose style, mood, voice and tempo. Suno’s help center has an article “Can I use my own lyrics?”, MusicLab’s listing says “Add your own lyrics”, and Boppy’s says you “Choose the language your lyrics are written in” (checked on 29 October 2026). For the others, check the app.

Which apps make a birthday song with a name?

MusicTune AI has a Birthday template that asks for the name, age, her/him/them, a personal touch and the song language, and gives two versions in a minute or two. In Suno, Boppy, MusicLab and the others you write the name and details into the description or lyrics yourself; Boppy’s and MusicLab’s listings mention birthday songs as an example. With any AI app, read the lyrics before you send the song, because the name isn’t guaranteed to be sung exactly as written.

Which of these apps work on iPad?

MusicTune AI (iPadOS 15 or later), MusicLab, ElevenMusic and Udio list iPad in their App Store Compatibility, though Udio’s help center says its app is “not optimized or recommended for iPads at this time”. Suno’s listing says “Designed for iPhone” and doesn’t list iPad, and Boppy’s and Mureka’s say “Only for iPhone” (checked on 29 October 2026).

Which apps let me use the songs commercially?

Not MusicTune AI: every plan is for personal, non-commercial use, so no monetized YouTube or TikTok, no streaming releases, no ads and no business use. Suno lists “Commercial use rights” on its Pro and Premier plans and says free-plan songs are for “personal, non-commercial use”; ElevenMusic’s site lists “Commercial use with a ‘Made with ElevenMusic’ credit” on its free plan; Mureka’s site says its pro plan provides “full commercial rights” (all checked on 29 October 2026). Read each app’s terms before you publish.

Is MusicTune AI free?

Your first creation is free and gives you two versions. After that you can watch a short ad for a free creation once every 12 hours (when an ad is available), or use MusicTune Pro or a song pack. See pricing.

Is MusicTune AI better than Suno?

Not at everything. Suno is better for commercial rights, audio upload, a web app, long tracks and volume. MusicTune AI is better for a personal song on your phone: occasion templates with the name and details, photo-to-song, two versions in about a minute, and a free first creation with no sign-up.
