Make a personalized song for your kid with their name on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone: a silly song about their favorite dinosaur, a bedtime lullaby, a brush-your-teeth anthem or a birthday song. Describe it in Simple mode or write the words yourself in Custom mode, and MusicTune AI writes the lyrics, sings them and produces the music. You get two versions, usually in about a minute.

How to make a song for your kid

  1. Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device and open it. No sign-up needed.
  2. Tap Create and stay in Simple mode.
  3. Describe the song in up to 300 characters, for example: “A happy, bouncy song for Leo, who is four, loves fire trucks, his cat Momo and jumping in puddles.” Say the mood you want: gentle for a lullaby, upbeat for a dance-around-the-kitchen song.
  4. Pick a style (300+ styles in 11 categories) and a mood, or leave them to the AI, and tap Generate song. You get two versions, usually in about a minute.

A lullaby in your own words

Use Custom mode and write the lullaby yourself, up to 5,000 characters, with the name, the nickname and your family’s bedtime words. MusicTune AI sings exactly what you wrote. Choose a gentle style, a female or male voice and a slow tempo. Songs are usually 2 to 5 minutes long; there is no length setting.

Good to know

  • The AI writes the lyrics from your description, but it isn’t guaranteed to sing the name exactly as you say it. Read the lyrics in the app before you play it, or write them yourself in Custom mode.
  • Songs made in Simple or Custom mode appear in the public Explore feed by default; only MusicTune Pro members can switch that off when they create a song. Anyone with a song’s link can open it. Use a first name or a nickname and leave out details you’d rather keep private, or keep the song private with Pro.
  • You need an internet connection to create and play songs in the app. With MusicTune Pro you can download the MP3 for bedtime without Wi-Fi.
  • Our Terms allow personal, non-commercial use: at home, in the car, shared with family.

How to share it

  • Share the song’s link in any chat, card or email. It opens a web page with a player, so they don’t need the app.
  • On songs with synced lyrics (most songs), make a vertical lyric video for WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok: the 15-second chorus clip is free, the full-length video needs Pro.
  • With MusicTune Pro, download the MP3 to keep or play anywhere.

Song for kids FAQ

Can it sing my child’s name?

The AI writes the lyrics from the details you enter, but it isn’t guaranteed to sing the name, and an unusual name may be pronounced differently. Read the lyrics in the app before you share the song. If you want every word exactly right, write your own lyrics in Custom mode and MusicTune AI will sing them.

Can I make a lullaby?

Yes. In Simple mode, describe it (“a gentle lullaby for Mia about the moon and her teddy bear”). For exact words, write the lullaby in Custom mode, choose a gentle style, a female or male voice and a slow tempo, and MusicTune AI sings it as written.

Are the songs public?

Songs made in Simple or Custom mode appear in the public Explore feed by default; only MusicTune Pro members can switch off “Show in Explore” when they create a song. Anyone with a song’s link can open it, so only include details you’re comfortable sharing.

Can I play it at bedtime without internet?

Creating and playing songs in the app needs an internet connection. MusicTune Pro members can download the MP3 and play it anywhere.

How long are the songs? Can I make a short jingle?

Songs are full length, usually 2 to 5 minutes, and there is no song-length setting, so a 30-second jingle isn’t possible. The 15-second lyric-video clip of the chorus is the short version.

Which languages can it be in?

In Simple mode the song is written and sung in your app language; 13 are available: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Tagalog and Korean. In Custom mode your own lyrics are sung as you wrote them.

How long does it take?

Usually a minute or two, and you get two versions. In most cases you can start listening while the song is still being made.

Is it free?

Your first creation is free and gives you two versions. After that you can watch a short ad for a free creation once every 12 hours (when an ad is available), or use MusicTune Pro or a song pack. See pricing.
