How to make a team anthem
- Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device and open it. No sign-up needed.
- Tap Create and stay in Simple mode.
- Under Describe your song, type up to 300 characters with the team name, the players and the chant: “A loud rock anthem for the Riverside Rovers, a Sunday-league football team: Jonah in goal, captain Mia up front, the chant ‘Rovers till we die’, the mud at Hillside and the 3–2 comeback in the cup.”
- Pick a Style: Rock for a stadium anthem, Hip hop for a hype track, Pop for one the whole team can sing, or tap All styles and pick Symphonic for a walk-out. Pick a Mood such as Energetic or Inspirational.
- Tap Create song. Two versions, usually in about a minute, with lyrics, a title and cover art. Read the lyrics before you send them to the group chat.
A chant with every name in it
Switch to Custom mode and write the chant yourself under Lyrics, up to 5,000 characters. MusicTune AI sings it as written, so every player gets their line and the team name lands in every chorus. Give it a Title, pick the Style and Mood, choose the Voice (Female, Male or Auto) and the Tempo (Slow, Medium, Fast or Auto), and set the sections in the structure editor: a verse for the back line, a verse for the strikers, the chant as the chorus.

- Our Terms allow personal, non-commercial use: the locker room, the team bus, the group chat, the awards night, a personal account that isn’t monetized. They don’t grant commercial rights, so no ads, no monetized YouTube or TikTok, no Spotify or other streaming releases and no business use, such as a club or a sponsor using the song in its marketing. MusicTune Pro doesn’t add commercial rights.
- The AI writes an original song. It can’t copy your club’s real anthem or a stadium classic, there are no celebrity or sound-alike voices, and descriptions can’t use artist names.
- Songs made in Simple or Custom mode appear in the public Explore feed by default; only MusicTune Pro members can switch Show in Explore off when they create a song. Anyone with the link can play it.
- In Simple mode the song is written and sung in your app language (13 are available). In Custom mode your own words are sung as written, in any language.

Yes. Can it make a basketball anthem or a hype track?
Yes. The same two modes work for any team: basketball, baseball, hockey, rugby, volleyball, your running club. For a hype track pick Hip hop or Trap, for a stadium feel Rock, for a walk-out Symphonic, and a mood such as Energetic.
Will it sing the team name and every player’s name?
The AI writes the lyrics from the details you enter, but it isn’t guaranteed to sing every name, and an unusual name may be pronounced differently. Read the lyrics in the app before you share the song. If you want every word exactly right, write your own lyrics in Custom mode and MusicTune AI will sing them.
Can we write the chant ourselves?
Yes. In Custom mode, type the chant under Lyrics, up to 5,000 characters, and MusicTune AI sings it as written. You choose the style, mood, voice and tempo, and you can set the sections, for example the chant as the chorus and a verse for each line of the team.
Can it sound like our club’s real anthem or a famous stadium song?
No. The AI writes an original song. It can’t reproduce an existing song’s melody, there is no audio upload, there are no celebrity or sound-alike voices, and descriptions can’t use artist names. Describe the feel instead: “a loud rock anthem the whole stand can sing”.
Can the club use it officially, in videos or on Spotify?
The songs are for personal, non-commercial use: the locker room, the bus, the group chat, the awards night, a personal account that isn’t monetized. Our Terms don’t grant commercial rights, so no ads, no monetized YouTube or TikTok, no streaming releases and no business use, and Pro doesn’t add them.
Can I get a version with no vocals for the walk-out?
Yes. Turn on Instrumental in Simple or Custom mode and you get music only, in the same styles. There is no BPM or length setting.
Which languages can it be in?
In Simple mode the song is written and sung in your app language; 13 are available: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Tagalog and Korean. In Custom mode your own lyrics are sung as you wrote them.
How long does it take?
Usually a minute or two, and you get two versions. In most cases you can start listening while the song is still being made.
Is it free?
Your first creation is free and gives you two versions. After that you can watch a short ad for a free creation once every 12 hours (when an ad is available), or use MusicTune Pro or a song pack. See pricing.
