How to make an apology song
- Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. On the Home screen, under For an occasion, tap Apology.
- Enter who it’s for and what happened, in a few words.
- Under In your words, write how you feel and what you want them to know. Be specific and honest: a shared memory or a promise lands better than a general “I’m sorry”.
- Pick the song language and tap Generate song. Listen to both versions, usually ready in a minute or two, and send the one that sounds most like you.
Tips for a sincere apology song
- Say what you’re sorry for. “I missed your birthday dinner” is better than “I messed up”.
- Add something only the two of you know: a nickname, a place, a song you both like.
- Keep the focus on them, not on excuses.
- Want every word to be yours? Write the lyrics yourself in Custom mode and choose a gentle style, mood and voice.
How to send it
- Share the song’s link in any chat, card or email. It opens a web page with a player, so they don’t need the app.
- On songs with synced lyrics (most songs), make a vertical lyric video for WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok: the 15-second chorus clip is free, the full-length video needs Pro.
- With MusicTune Pro, download the MP3 to keep or play anywhere.
Anyone with the link can open the song, so send it only to the person it’s for.

Yes. The Apology template works for a partner, a friend, a parent or anyone else: enter their name, what happened and what you want to say.
Is the Apology template always available?
Yes. Apology is one of the eight occasion templates (with Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Friendship and Farewell) and is in the app all year.
Can I write the lyrics myself?
Yes. In Custom mode, paste your own lyrics (up to 5,000 characters) and choose the style, mood, voice and tempo. MusicTune AI sings them as written.
Which languages can it be in?
Occasion songs have their own language choice, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, French, German, Japanese and Arabic.
Who can hear the song?
Anyone with the song’s link can open it, so share the link only with the person it’s for.
