Delete Your Account
Delete your account from inside the app
- Open MusicTune AI on your phone.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account. (If you are using the app as a guest and have not connected a Google or Apple account, this option is called Delete your data.)
- Read the confirmation, then tap Delete forever.
Deletion happens immediately. If you signed in a while ago, you may be asked to reconnect your Google or Apple account first — this confirms it is really you, then you can delete straight away.
Request deletion by email
If you have lost access to the app or your device, email hello@musictune.app from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm and delete your account within 30 days.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account and sign-in identifier (Google, Apple, or guest).
- Your email address and display name, where we received them from Google or Apple sign-in.
- All songs you created, including their audio, cover art, titles and lyrics.
- Any photo you uploaded to generate a song.
- Your playlists, library and listening history.
- Your song credits and remaining balance.
- Your profile settings and app preferences.
- Your push-notification and analytics identifiers.
This cannot be undone. Credits and any unused portion of a subscription are lost when you delete your account.
What is kept, and for how long
When you delete your account we remove your personal content from our active systems. A limited set of records may be retained only where we are required or permitted to keep them:
- Purchase and billing records — retained for as long as required by tax, accounting and consumer-protection law in your country. These are held by Apple, Google Play and our billing provider, and are not linked to your deleted content.
- Fraud and abuse-prevention records — a limited technical record may be retained to prevent repeat abuse of free credits.
- Aggregated, anonymous statistics — these contain no personal information and cannot be traced back to you.
- Songs you chose to make public or shared by link — removed from public discovery when you delete your account. Copies previously downloaded or shared by other people are outside our control.
- Routine backups — deleted content may persist briefly in encrypted system backups before those backups are rotated and overwritten.
Delete your data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove content. In the app you can delete individual songs at any time from your library. Guests can use Settings → Delete your data to clear all songs, playlists and credits while keeping the app usable.
Cancelling your subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription, because subscriptions are managed by the app store, not by us. Cancel it separately:
- Android: Google Play → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MusicTune AI → Cancel.
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MusicTune AI → Cancel.
We recommend cancelling before deleting your account.
