Who we are
MusicTune AI is a mobile app that turns your ideas into songs. The data controller for the purposes of this policy is MusicTune AI. You can reach us at cihatakkiraz@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Account & identity
When you use the app we create an account identifier for you. You can use the app as a guest (an anonymous identifier) or connect a Google or Apple account, in which case we receive your sign-in identifier and, where available, your email address and display name.
Content you create
We process the prompts, descriptions, lyrics, style and mood choices you provide, the songs and images generated from them, and any photo you upload to create a song. Songs are stored so you can access your library and so you can share them.
Purchases & subscriptions
When you buy credits or a subscription, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive your subscription/entitlement status and purchase events (via RevenueCat) but we never receive or store your full payment-card details.
Device & usage data
We collect standard technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, crash diagnostics, and how you use features (e.g. songs created, plays). This helps us keep the app working and improve it.
How we use your information
- To provide the core service — generating songs from your prompts and storing your library.
- To process purchases, manage credits and subscription entitlements.
- To send notifications you’ve enabled (for example, when your song or stems are ready).
- To show and measure advertising in the free version of the app.
- To understand usage, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the app. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, and crash reporting.
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management.
- OneSignal — push notifications.
- Analytics provider — aggregated product analytics.
- Google AdMob — advertising in the free version.
- Third-party AI model providers — to generate songs, lyrics, and artwork from your prompts. Your prompt and related inputs are sent to these providers solely to produce your song.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer.
Cookies & website analytics
Our website (musictune.app) uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to understand aggregate traffic such as page views and referring sites. It sets no cookies, stores no identifiers on your device, and does not track you across other websites. Because no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie-consent banner is required.
Public songs & sharing
If you make a song public or share its link, the song, its title, artwork and lyrics can be viewed by anyone with the link or through the in-app discovery feed. You can keep songs private in the app.
Your choices & rights
You can, at any time from within the app: delete individual songs, delete your data, or delete your account. Deleting your data removes your songs and associated records from our systems. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may also have rights to access, correct, port, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your data or account, we remove your personal content from our active systems; limited records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Children
MusicTune AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security & international transfers
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our providers may process and store data in countries other than your own; where required, appropriate safeguards are applied.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
