What MusicTune AI doesn’t do
So you know what to expect before you download:
- No uploads. You can’t upload or import audio, so you can’t remix, cover or split a song made elsewhere. Stems and MIDI work only on songs you made in MusicTune AI, and it isn’t a vocal remover.
- No length or BPM setting. Songs are usually 2 to 5 minutes long, and tempo is Slow, Medium, Fast or Auto rather than an exact BPM.
- No celebrity voices. In Custom mode you choose a female, male or automatic AI voice, and song descriptions can’t use artist names.
- No offline creation. Songs are made in the cloud, so you need an internet connection to create and play them. Pro MP3 downloads play anywhere.
- Personal, non-commercial use only. Our Terms don’t grant commercial rights: no monetized posts, streaming releases, ads or business use.

Is MusicTune AI free?
It's free to start. Your first creation is free (one per device) and gives you two versions of your song. After that, you can watch a short ad to get a free creation once every 12 hours, whenever an ad is available. For more songs there's MusicTune Pro or one-time song packs.
How much does MusicTune Pro cost?
In the US, MusicTune Pro costs $9.99 a week (30 songs) or $14.99 a month (100 songs), the same on the App Store and Google Play. Each creation counts as two songs. Prices vary by country and store, and the app shows your price before you pay. Pro renews automatically until you cancel, and unused songs don't roll over to the next period.
How long does it take to make a song?
About a minute. In a 24-hour sample on 7 October 2026, the median time to a finished song was 74 seconds. Usually you can start listening while your song is still being made.
Can I make a birthday song with someone's name?
Yes. Pick the Birthday template, enter their name and age, add a personal touch like a hobby or an inside joke, and choose the song language. MusicTune AI writes and sings a birthday song for them from those details. Read the lyrics before you share it. Can I use my own lyrics?
Yes. In Custom mode you can write or paste up to 5,000 characters of lyrics and choose the title, style, mood, voice and tempo. MusicTune AI sings your words and produces the music.
Which languages does MusicTune AI support?
The app is available in 13 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Tagalog and Korean. When the AI writes the lyrics, songs are written and sung in your app language, which you can change in Settings. In Custom mode your own lyrics are sung as you wrote them. Occasion songs let you choose the song language separately.
Can I choose the singer's voice?
In Custom mode you can choose a female, male or automatic AI voice. There are no celebrity or sound-alike voices, and song descriptions can't use artist names.
Can I download my songs?
MusicTune Pro members can download songs as MP3 files. Everyone can share a link to a song, and on songs with synced lyrics (most songs) everyone can make a 15-second lyric video clip; full-length lyric videos need Pro. Stems download as WAV files and MIDI as .mid files.
Can MusicTune AI split a song into stems or remove vocals?
Only songs you made in MusicTune AI. Stems split your song into vocals, drums, bass, other and instrumental tracks, plus MIDI, and creating them uses credits (more than making a song). You can't upload or import other audio, so MusicTune AI can't split or remove vocals from songs made elsewhere.
Can I use the songs I make?
Yes, for personal use. Our Terms of Service let you use the songs you make only for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as listening, sharing with friends and family, or personal posts that aren't monetized. They don't grant commercial rights: no monetized YouTube or TikTok, no releases on Spotify or other streaming services, no ads and no business or client use.
Are my songs public?
Songs you make in Simple or Custom mode appear in the public Explore feed by default, where other MusicTune AI users can listen to them. MusicTune Pro members can switch off Show in Explore when they create a song to keep it private. Anyone you send a song's link to can open it.
What happens if a song fails?
If a song can't be made, the credit is normally returned to your balance automatically. If it isn't, contact support.
Do I need an account?
No. You start as a guest. To back up your songs and use them on another device, connect Google (iPhone, iPad and Android) or Apple (iPhone and iPad). There's no email and password login.
How do I cancel MusicTune Pro?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete Account (guests see Delete your data). Your songs and personal content are deleted immediately; limited records, such as purchase records, are kept only where the law requires. You can also use our account deletion page.
Which devices does MusicTune AI work on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, and Android devices with Android 7.0 or later. You need an internet connection to create and play songs.
Is there a web or desktop version?
No. You make songs in the MusicTune AI app on iPhone, iPad or Android. A song you share opens on a web page with a player, so anyone can listen in a browser.
