A song from Santa with your child’s name
Make a song from Santa for your child, with their name, their age, the kind things they did this year and what they are hoping for, on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone. From December 1 to 25 the Christmas template on the Home screen takes the name and the details; before December, a short description does the same. MusicTune AI writes the lyrics, sings them and produces the music, usually in about a minute, in two versions. Play it on Christmas Eve, put it under the tree as a link, or send it to the grandparents.

How to make a song from Santa
- Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device and open it. No sign-up needed.
- From December 1 to 25: on the Home screen, under the occasions, tap Christmas. Put your child’s name in Dedicate it to and, in the personal touch, what Santa should say: “From Santa to Emma, 6: she shared her room with her baby brother, learned to ride a bike and hopes for a blue scooter. Santa’s reindeer loved her carrots.” Choose the song language and tap Generate song.
- Before December: tap Create, stay in Simple mode and describe it in up to 300 characters: “A cheerful Christmas song from Santa to Emma, 6, who was kind to her brother all year and hopes for a blue scooter.” Pick a Joyful mood.
- Two versions, usually in about a minute. Listen to both and read the lyrics before the big night.
What to tell Santa
- The name and the age, spelled the way it sounds if it is unusual (“Nee-ah” for Nia).
- Two or three true things from the year: the tooth they lost, the pet they look after, the first day of school.
- One wish, and whether Santa can promise it or only “we’ll see”.
- Your town or your tree, so the song sounds like it was written for your house.
- For more than one child, make one song each (each is a creation) or put both names in one description and ask for a verse per child.
Santa’s letter, sung word for word
Want Santa to say exactly what you wrote? Switch to Custom mode, write the lyrics yourself (up to 5,000 characters) as a letter from Santa, and MusicTune AI sings them as written. Pick a male voice, a slow or medium tempo and a style such as Pop, Folk or Choral. There are no celebrity voices and no “official” Santa voice; it is an AI singer in the style you choose.
Good to know
- The Christmas template appears on the Home screen from December 1 to 25 and the New Year template from December 26 to January 1; the rest of the year, Simple mode and Custom mode do the job.
- The template has its own song-language choice (English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese or Arabic). In Simple mode the song comes out in your app language; in Custom mode your words are sung as written.
- The AI isn’t guaranteed to sing the name, and an unusual name may be pronounced differently. Read the lyrics in the app first; write them yourself in Custom mode when every word matters.
- Songs made in Simple or Custom mode appear in the public Explore feed by default; only MusicTune Pro members can switch that off when they create a song. Anyone with the link can play it, so keep the link to yourself until Christmas Eve.
- Our Terms allow personal, non-commercial use: your family, the grandparents, a personal account that isn’t monetized.
Song from Santa FAQ
Can MusicTune AI make a song from Santa with my child’s name?
Yes. From December 1 to 25, open the Christmas template on the Home screen, put the child’s name in “Dedicate it to” and what Santa should mention in the personal touch. Before December, describe it in Simple mode (up to 300 characters). Two versions, usually in about a minute, on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Is it Santa’s real voice?
It is an AI singer, not a celebrity or a licensed Santa voice. In Custom mode you can pick a male voice and a slow tempo; in the template and in Simple mode the AI picks a voice that fits.
Will it say my child’s name?
The AI writes the lyrics from the details you enter, but it isn’t guaranteed to sing the name, and an unusual name may be pronounced differently. Read the lyrics in the app before you share the song. If you want every word exactly right, write your own lyrics in Custom mode and MusicTune AI will sing them.
Can I make one for each of my kids?
Yes. Make one song per child (each is a creation with two versions), or put both names in one description and ask for a verse each.
Can it mention their wish list and what they did this year?
Yes. Put the good deeds, the wish and a detail or two in the personal touch or the description, and the AI writes them into the lyrics. Read the lyrics before the night to check what Santa promises.
When is the Christmas template available?
From December 1 to 25 on the Home screen (app 2.1.7 and later); the New Year template follows from December 26 to January 1. Before December, Simple mode does the same from a short description.
Which languages can it be in?
You choose the song language in the template: English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese or Arabic. In Simple mode the song comes out in your app language (13 are available), and in Custom mode your own lyrics are sung as you wrote them.
How long does it take?
Usually a minute or two, and you get two versions. In most cases you can start listening while the song is still being made.
Is it free?
Your first creation is free and gives you two versions. After that you can watch a short ad for a free creation once every 12 hours (when an ad is available), or use MusicTune Pro or a song pack. See pricing.
