How to make a Christmas song
- Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. From December 1 to December 25, the Christmas template is shown first on the Home screen.
- Optionally add who it’s dedicated to: your kids’ names, a partner, grandparents or “everyone at the Miller house”.
- Under Personal touch, add memories, wishes and a festive detail or two: the tree you cut down together, the dog in a Santa hat, the first Christmas in a new home.
- Pick the song language and tap Generate song. You get two versions, usually in a minute or two.
From December 26 to January 1 the app shows a New Year template instead, for a song about the year’s best moments and your hopes for the next one.
Making it before December 1?
Use Simple mode and describe the song in up to 300 characters, for example: “A cozy Christmas song for Emma and Leo about snow, cookies for Santa and our dog Biscuit opening presents.” Or write your own lyrics in Custom mode and pick the style, mood, voice and tempo yourself.

How to send it
- Share the song’s link in any chat, card or email. It opens a web page with a player, so they don’t need the app.
- On songs with synced lyrics (most songs), make a vertical lyric video for WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok: the 15-second chorus clip is free, the full-length video needs Pro.
- With MusicTune Pro, download the MP3 to keep or play anywhere.
Christmas song FAQ
Is there a Christmas template in the app?
Yes. From December 1 to December 25 the Christmas template appears first on the Home screen. It asks who the song is dedicated to (optional) and a personal touch. Before that, describe your song in Simple mode or write your own lyrics in Custom mode.
Can I put my kids’ names in a Christmas song?
Yes. Add the names in the dedication or the personal touch, and the AI works them into the lyrics.
Can it sound like a famous Christmas song or singer?
No. There are no celebrity or sound-alike voices, and song descriptions can’t use artist names. The AI writes an original song.
Which languages can it be in?
You choose the song language in the template. In Simple mode the song comes out in your app language (13 are available), and in Custom mode your own lyrics are sung as you wrote them.
Can I share it or post it?
Yes, for personal use: send the link, play it at home or at a family gathering, or post it on a personal account that isn’t monetized. Our Terms don’t grant commercial rights, so no monetized YouTube or TikTok, no streaming releases, no ads and no business use.
Is it free?
Your first creation is free and gives you two versions. After that you can watch a short ad for a free creation once every 12 hours (when an ad is available), or use MusicTune Pro or a song pack. See pricing.
