How to turn a photo into a song
- Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device and open Create.
- Tap the photo button (From a photo).
- Choose Take a photo or pick one from your library.
- The AI writes a title, lyrics and a style inspired by the photo, usually in your app language, and starts making the song right away.
- Both versions are usually ready in a minute or two, and in most cases you can start listening while they’re being made.
Photos that make good songs
- A trip: a beach, a city at night, a mountain view.
- Your pet doing something ridiculous.
- A night out or a group photo with friends (ask them first).
- Something from today: your coffee, the rain, the view from your window.

How does photo to song work?
You take a photo or choose one from your library. The AI looks at its mood, colors and scene, writes a title, lyrics and a style for it, and MusicTune AI makes the song with vocals, in two versions. If the AI can’t read the photo, you still get a song, but it may not match the photo.
Can I choose the genre or lyrics for a photo song?
No. For photo songs the AI chooses the style and writes the lyrics. If you want to choose them, describe the photo yourself in Simple mode, or write your own lyrics in Custom mode.
What language will the song be in?
Usually your app language, one of the 13 the app supports, which you can change in Settings. Now and then the lyrics come out in English instead.
Does a photo song cost more?
No. A photo song uses one creation, like any other song, and gives you two versions.
What happens to my photo?
The photo is uploaded and sent to our AI model provider so it can write the song. Only use photos you have the right to use. See our Privacy Policy.
Is it free?
Your first creation is free and gives you two versions. After that you can watch a short ad for a free creation once every 12 hours (when an ad is available), or use MusicTune Pro or a song pack. See pricing.
