How to make a song with a name in it
- Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device and open it. No sign-up needed.
- Tap Create and stay in Simple mode.
- Describe the song in up to 300 characters, with the name and what it is about: “An upbeat pop song about Maya, who runs every morning, laughs at her own jokes and is moving to Lisbon next month.”
- Pick a style (300+ to choose from) and a mood, or leave them to the AI.
- Tap Create song. Two versions, usually in about a minute, with lyrics, a title and cover art.
The AI writes the lyrics around the name you give it. Read them before you share: it isn’t guaranteed to use the name, and an unusual name can come out pronounced differently.
The name in every chorus, exactly as you spell it
Switch to Custom mode and write the lyrics yourself, up to 5,000 characters. MusicTune AI sings them as written, so the name lands where you put it, as often as you like. You choose the style, mood, voice (female, male or auto) and tempo. If a name is easy to mis-say, spell it the way it sounds (“Shawn” for Seán, “Nee-ah” for Nia) and check both versions.

A song with your kid’s name
- Their own song: Simple mode with their name, age and favorite things (“a bouncy song about Leo, 4, who loves diggers, bananas and his dog Biscuit”). Kids ask for it on repeat.
- A lullaby: write it yourself in Custom mode with their name in the chorus, pick a slow tempo and a calm mood, or describe it in Simple mode. More on the song for kids page.
- From Santa: from December 1 to 25 the Christmas template on the Home screen has a “Dedicate it to” field for the child’s name and a personal-touch box for what Santa should mention (the good deeds, the wish list, the cookies). Before December, Simple mode does it: “A Christmas song from Santa to Emma, 6, who was kind to her little brother all year.” See the Christmas song page.
- Birthday: the Birthday template asks for the name and the age and writes the song from them.

Good to know
- In Simple mode the song is written and sung in your app language (13 are available). In Custom mode your own words are sung as written, in any language.
- Songs made in Simple or Custom mode appear in the public Explore feed by default; only MusicTune Pro members can switch that off when they create a song. Anyone with the link can play it, so keep a surprise song’s link to yourself until the day.
- There are no celebrity or sound-alike voices, and descriptions can’t use artist names. The AI writes an original song.
- Our Terms allow personal, non-commercial use: a gift, a party, a personal account that isn’t monetized.

Write the lyrics yourself in Custom mode and place the name wherever you want it; MusicTune AI sings them as written. In Simple mode the AI decides where the name goes.

Yes. The Birthday template asks for the name and the age, plus an optional personal touch, and writes the song from them. It is available all year.
Which languages can it be in?
In Simple mode the song is written and sung in your app language; 13 are available: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Tagalog and Korean. In Custom mode your own lyrics are sung as you wrote them.
How long does it take?
Usually a minute or two, and you get two versions. In most cases you can start listening while the song is still being made.
Can I post it or play it at the party?
For personal use, yes: send the link, play it at the party or post it on a personal account that isn’t monetized. Our Terms don’t grant commercial rights, so no monetized YouTube or TikTok, no streaming releases, no ads and no business use.
