How to turn your lyrics into a song
- Install MusicTune AI on your iPhone, iPad or Android device, open Create and switch to Custom.
- Write or paste your lyrics (up to 5,000 characters). Or use the Advanced editor to build the song section by section: Intro, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus, Bridge, Drop & Break, Interlude, Outro and End.
- Add a title and pick a style (300+), a mood (11 moods or Random), a voice (female, male or auto) and a tempo (slow, medium, fast or auto).
- Tap create. The full song is usually ready in about a minute, in two versions, and in most cases you can start listening while it’s being made.
No lyrics yet?
Switch to Simple mode and describe your song in up to 300 characters; the AI writes the lyrics and the title for you. MusicTune Pro members can also use Write with AI in Custom mode to draft lyrics from a theme or story.
After your song is ready
- Lyrics scroll in time with the music on most songs.
- If the song has synced lyrics, turn it into a vertical lyric video (15-second clip free, full video with Pro).
- Create stems and MIDI of your song for your music software, for personal use (uses credits). Stems download as WAV, MIDI as .mid.
- Download the MP3 with MusicTune Pro.
Good to know
- You can’t upload a melody or a recording; MusicTune AI writes the music.
- Want an instrumental? Switch on Instrumental for music without vocals.
- If a song can’t be made, the credit is normally returned to your balance automatically. If it isn’t, contact support.

How do I turn my lyrics into a song?
Open Create, switch to Custom mode and write or paste your lyrics. MusicTune AI sings them and produces the music.
How long can my lyrics be?
Up to 5,000 characters. Songs usually come out 2 to 5 minutes long.
Which voices can sing my lyrics?
In Custom mode you choose a female, male or automatic AI voice. There are no celebrity or sound-alike voices.
Can I set the BPM or the song length?
No. Tempo is Slow, Medium, Fast or Auto rather than an exact BPM, and you can’t choose the length.
Can I get the vocals on their own?
Yes, for songs you make in MusicTune AI: create stems (this uses more credits than a song) to get vocals, drums, bass, other and instrumental tracks as WAV files, plus MIDI, for personal, non-commercial use. You can’t upload audio from elsewhere.
Can I use the song commercially?
Our Terms let you use the songs you make only for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as listening, sharing with friends and family, or personal posts that aren’t monetized. They don’t grant commercial rights: no monetized YouTube or TikTok, no releases on Spotify or other streaming services, no ads and no business or client use.
Is it free?
Your first creation is free and gives you two versions. After that you can watch a short ad for a free creation once every 12 hours (when an ad is available), or use MusicTune Pro or a song pack. See pricing.
